INTAKE MANIFOLD SWIRL FLAP RODS FOR 3.0 3.2 CDI V6 3.0 CRD V6
Over the time the connection points of the linkage which operate swirl flaps wear out and lead to a malfunctioning of the intake manifold. This is a common fault for the intake manifold swirl flap mechanism of Mercedes-Benz OM642 V6 CDI / CRD engines. The plastic material used in the construction of the intake manifold is the main source of the problem. The material of this rod which control the swirl flaps has been poorly design and over the time weakening the material leading to Failure.
In order to fix this problem, you will need our new repair kit specially designed to permanently fix the swirl flap mechanism. Our repair kit will save you a money so you will not have to replace a complete Intake Manifolds which cost a fortune from the main dealers.
Fault symptoms:
1. Poor idle
2. Power loss
3. Engine management light
4. Fail emission system
5. Delayed acceleration.
