1. Remove the spark plug wire and coil from the spark plug.

2. Disconnect the drive cable from the clutch.

3. Remove the nuts, washers and screws that hold the clutch in place.

4. Loosen the locking nut on the clutch shaft and turn the adjustment screw until the clutch is as tight as possible.

5. Reinstall the nuts, washers and screws to secure the clutch in place.

6. Reconnect the drive cable to the clutch and reattach the spark plug wire and coil.

7. Start the mower and check the clutch to make sure it is engaging and disengaging properly.

8. Adjust the clutch again if needed.
